Brazil: A View from Inside aims at offering its participants with a first-hand view of business opportunities in the leading Latin American country. In general, it combines lectures, company visits and cultural and social events.
Upon request, the program structure can be customized in terms of modules, activities and length. All academic sessions are led by Insper faculty members and prominent guest speakers on potential policies and investment opportunities in Brazil’s top business sectors. The entire program is offered in English.
Brazil

Rodrigo Amantea
Master and Doctor in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP. He develops research in the area of innovation, intrapreneurship, organizational design and brands. He has extensive experience in managing and innovating products, services and brands in large technology and service companies. Since 2011, he has been Academic Coordinator for Executive Education and professor at Insper.

Rodrigo Amantea
Master and Doctor in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP. He develops research in the area of innovation, intrapreneurship, organizational design and brands. He has extensive experience in managing and innovating products, services and brands in large technology and service companies. Since 2011, he has been Academic Coordinator for Executive Education and professor at Insper.

Mônica Pinhanez
Holds a PhD in Economic Development and Public Policy from MIT, Cambridge, MA, USA (2008). Masters in City Planning by MIT (1998). Master’s degree in Public Administration and Government from Fundação Getulio Vargas, SP (1995) Taught at New York University (NYU), Rutgers University, Yokohama International University and the University of Toronto. Taught at Foundation School of Sociology and Politics of São Paulo (FESPSP). Fellow at the International Labor Organization (ILO) and as a consultant to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). She was a professor at the Brazilian School of Public Administration and Business (EBAPE) at the GV Foundation in Rio de Janeiro and vice-coordinator of the undergraduate degree in administration at FGV/EBAPE. Professor of the Public Finance disciplines in Developing Countries, Economic Development and Public Policies. Areas of interest: Organizational theories applied to the public sector, New Public Management and New Public Administration, State Reform, Administrative Tax Reform. Coordinated of the MIT-CNPq Academic Cooperation Project, “The Political Economy of the Oil and Gas Industry in Brazil.” Coordinated of Institutional Planning and International Accreditation of FGV/EBAPE. Research Associate of the Energy Research Center of FGV / RJ (FGV Energia).

Master from the Sloan School of Management, M.I.T (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), with a concentration in strategy and applied economics. Master from the Operations Research Center, M.I.T (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), with a concentration in mathematical programming, network algorithms. Master in Transport Engineering from COPPE / UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) with a focus on planning and simulation methods. Luiz accumulates experience as President / CEO of Produzir SA, a joint venture between Bunge and Dupont in agribusiness, and professor at Insper in the Strategy and Operations disciplines in the MBA, Corporate, Masters and Executive Education courses.
